1990 :
The Rossmann Group became the first French investor in Romania when buying an old corrugated cardboard manufacturing plant in Bucharest. Romcarton was created.
The activity started with the retechnologization of the old plant.

1997 :
Romcarton SA and the Rossmann Group bought AMBRO SA Suceava, the most important Romanian manufacturer of paper for corrugated cardboard.
This is a strategic investment given that AMBRO produces the Kraft paper necessary to the Group and especially to ROMCARTON SA.

2003 :
Today the company lies on an area of 16.000 sqm in Bucharest:
- 15.000 sqm for the storehouse and the production hall
- 800 sqm for the office facilities
Access to the railway.
The output capacity of the current equipment is of 45.000 tons of corrugated cardboard.
